LIVE MUSIC: Billy D & the HooDoos
“Hailing from the Portland, OR music scene comes a Blues inspired music lover’s jewel. Billy Desmond fronts a three-piece outfit that is sure to impress with a smooth vocal style and hauntingly pleasing guitar tone and style. Their songs are catchy and will be bouncing in your brain long after you have taken in their performance. First honing his craft on the Blues club scene of Chicago, Billy D is a Blues songwriter that has ridden the soaring highs and deep down lows of life and his passionate zeal for the music comes through on every cut of his wildly popular album “Something’s Wrong”. His songs go way past traditional blues music with a clear reflection of mother blues and her first-born rock and roll. This outfit had a visit with the root doctor, and he blessed them with the mystic voodoo juice. There is no doubt that you are sure to fall under the spell of Billy D & the Hoodoos.” - Big Blues Bender website
